The Phoenix on Westheimer is a soccer pub and on-site brewpub in Montrose, Houston (1915 Westheimer Rd), open since 2006 and the official Houston watch-party home for Manchester City, FC Bayern, and Celtic.

Opened in 2006 originally as the Firkin & Phoenix, we rebranded in 2014 as The Phoenix on Westheimer, preserving the soul of a community pub while pushing the boundaries of hospitality.

In 2015, we formally launched our on-site micro-brewery, serving award-winning craft ales brewed right here in the heart of Houston. Whether you are here for morning kickoff times, a hearty ribeye roast, or a bespoke cocktail, you are among friends.

The Phoenix shows live soccer from the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Europa League, Bundesliga, Scottish Premiership, La Liga, MLS, and the FIFA World Cup. We're the official Houston watch-party home for Manchester City, FC Bayern, and Celtic.

Do you open early for international matches?

Yes. Our regular hours are Monday–Wednesday 11am–1am, Thursday–Friday 11am–2am, and Saturday–Sunday 9am–2am, and we open early for important international soccer matches and early kickoffs.

Yes. We've brewed award-winning craft ales on site since 2015 — including our flagship Phoenix Amber Ale and the citrus-forward Montrose IPA — alongside a full kitchen menu and craft cocktails.

Yes — dogs are welcome on our patio, and we even have a dedicated dog menu for your four-legged companions.

Is there parking at The Phoenix?

Yes. We have on-site parking for patrons, plus additional street parking on the side streets just off Westheimer.

Do you take reservations or large-group bookings?
