Welcome friends. The Phoenix on Westheimer is formerly known as the Firkin and Phoenix. Firkin Die-Hards will always call it the Firkin. Many of you have noticed the cosmetic changes that came with the name change. It's the still same great bar, owners and staff. Join us for our 9th Annual Lunar New Year Festival & Fried Rice Cook-Off. Due to space issues/concerns, this is the THIRD YEAR the event is held at the WEST ALABAMA ICEHOUSE.

This will be unique experience as we have friends from within the community presenting their version of FRIED RICE with a very international flair. (There will be representation from many ethnic backgrounds.)
